AFRICAN ARTS & CRAFTS
FDNC Resident Artist Masaba Joshua Pison, his students and other local artists from the community make a range of
traditional African arts and crafts items for sale in the FDNC Arts and Crafts Gallery, and to our local, national,
and international partners. Ordering information is listed below.
Greeting Cards
Below are photos of several greeting card designs. We are also happy to create custom designs for special occasions.
These are a combination of local fiber cards, batik cards, and painted cards.

Baskets, Hats, and Other Fiber Products
Pison, his students, and other local artists use banana fiber, sisal, papyrus, and other locally-available
natural materials to make baskets, hats, purses, bags, glasses cases, and other items. Several are pictured below.
